This 237.5 m2 – 2-storey Cafe is inspired by elements of Nature, Mid Century Modern, Culture and Timelessness design.
Color of nature or more specifically the earth tones – awash the various spaces, to create a sense of warmth and coziness within the cafe. The hint of Mid Century design is also found in the furnitures, pattern and materials, to further bring the customers to the nostalgic atmosphere of the Mid Century design itself.
A sense of timelessness is cultivated through introduction of distinctive tiles, furnitures (i.e lamps, chairs, bench cushion, etc.) and wood panel on the walls and counter, to recall past glory of the period detailing with their penchant for the ornamented; but this time, modernized into a more aesthetics that befit a young people and urbane family.
Culture is also subtly recalled, through the world of artworks, accessories, and memorabilia collected on various family vacations to, at times, exotic locations
Abstracted aesthetics of rattan & ethnic weaving, quaint cultural relics collected from the lost world, invigorate as well as inspire this growing family into love of culture & history. All of these, we hope, will culminate in a Space that will inspire, educate and of course shelter the young family that inhabit this place.
More importantly, we envision a space that all customers can retreat to at the end of a hard days at work or a rough day in school; a place where they can laugh, rejoice, share their moments – both happy & sad ones.
